Prescribed Meds unfortunately.. Didn't know that they could get that addictive to the point that if you stop you get withdrawals from them also. But they are drugs, only difference is the Doctor prescribes them so here I am...

I have a friend who's addicted to marijuana, and now takes acid regularly.
He's always been a bit hyperactive, but now he's unbearable to be around. He can't sit still!

He always thinks we're complaining to him about it, when in reality we're trying to get him to stop because we can see what it's doing to him.

Now he's on the benefit. He hasn't got a job, and he's getting $150 a week for doing nothing. He's loving that. Most of which he spends on his addictions...

Anyone do any treatments or anything? I've been to rehab multiple times in 16 year span. Granted, my issues are mixed with bipolar and anxiety. But I'd like to try and keep the thread on substance abuse.

I'm still trying to commit to some meetings a couple times a week but I just can't bring myself to do it. They're just 'too much' for me sometimes.

I don't poison myself on a regular basis any more. The green herb is the only one that I treated abusively. It doesn't kill or I would have been dead thirty years ago... oh?... I am?... Mmm short term memory is lacking a bit.

Hmmm nothing really. If anything, I guess caffeine, though not strongly or anything. I just seem to get headaches if I don't drink a couple cups of tea or coffee or something throughout the day. Even if I get enough sleep
