I can't get my SuSE 10.1 to play mpeg video files, it complains that it can't find a demux for it

I installed SuSE over the internet, but I've done that with earlier versions too, and they had no problem playing mpeg files at all.

This is bumming me out, and I can't figure out how to fix it!

Does anyone here have any ideas? st0nerdude!!???

I never could get SuSE to install on any of my machines without crashing by the second boot.

So I just have the hard drive install of Knoppix.

yikes..

I'm contemplating Debian right now.. I would go Ubuntu, but it was beeing a stubborn little kid last time I tried

Knoppix is debian last I saw, it seems pretty stable!
