*nearly shameless self-plug of a sort*
Another cool songs lyrics:
Cities made of meat
Im Leo the quite ordinary dog
With me is my friend the talking log
Were here to sing you a song
About this wonderful Wednesday morn
The sun got up, bring the birds to chirp
Cars start up, bring the people to work
And we get to stay alone at home
Use the whole damn day just to roam
I run with Log in my mouth
Rush on over to the neighbours house
To the tree with the one eyed crow
This bizarre little f***er named Rhino
Rhino said he knew f this place
Wed get there by noon if we kept up the pace
If we wanted to we could make it a race
I was Ayrton Senna, Log Lewis and Clark
Crow pretended he was Noah and his ark
And everybody had a real good time!
Oh, man, dude, we found this place
Around ten past nine or a quarter to eight
It was a cluster of shrooms with neat little spots
Amanita Muscaria, or something I forgot
Log held a lecture on old Karl Marx
This is where it ends and capitalism starts!
I couldnt help to think that I was a belt
Crow tried his hardest not to melt
Interesting things came and went
But a thought on slowin was never spent
Stoned, trippin or what you call it
We all had in mind why we started
Log talked a bit crazy, but I was fine
When crow found the entrance to the mine
We set of to the centre of the world
Chasin down this rumour that wed heard
Cities made of meat!
We found one around thirty minutes later
I couldnt quite help to say: Hot potatir!
Crow and yours truly we dove right in
Log sat back and declared himself king
The day eventually came to an end
And we all returned home again
Log was not really quite the same
But sanity was never really much his game anyway.
It was a good day!
This was recorded some fine day a while back, by the band Yazatas(which I'm in), and I'm told by unreliable sources that its a deeply meaningful song full of hidden truths and biscuits.
