Is it possible to install a piece of software (like Microsoft Word, for example) on computer A then be able to use it on computer B through a network?

well. . . they do somthing like that with Game Cracks with P2P sharing. I guess so. If they can copy files from a cracked game and share them, that makes it more realistic. I guess so.

Probably with Terminal Services, but not just by executing off the shared drive. There are registry entries and files you need on the executing system.

you could use VNC to ontrol the other PC. I use it on my Mac to control a pc under my
desk. Works ok really.

Never heard of VNC, what is it?

if the people on the network have different priviledges, then it needs to be in a folder where all can access. I think that you should, as I can access stuff off other computers in my network and run stuff etc.
