Shawn Chacon(4-1) who's vying for a role in the starting rotation won his fourth straight, with a strong six-innings of work. He allowed one run, four walks, and had six strikeouts.
Joe Torre recorded his 999th career victory as manager of the Yankees. And Alex Rodriguez is now in 33rd place with 435 career home runs. He was 3-for-4 on the night.
