Brorsoft Video Lag Fix

I finally downloaded Brorsoft Blu-Ray Video Converter Ultimate, so I can rip and copy movies and TV shows on DVDa so I can preserve them and make them last longer whether the discs get scratched up or not. I haven't tried Blu-Ray discs yet. However, I was able to rip most of them without issues; some of them had one problem: THEY WON'T STOP LAGGING! There are plenty of scenes in some of the movies I own that lag, meaning that the video freezes up for more than enough moments while the audio still plays. After that, the video unfreezes and either plays uber fast to catch up or simply cuts to the next part. That happened on both VLC Media Player and Roku Media Player. The files are .mp4. And here are the settings I usually use:

Codec: xvid
Size (pix): original
Bitrate (kdps): medium quality
Frame rate (fps): 30
Codec: aac
Sample rate (hz): 48000
Bitrate (bps): 32000
Channels: 5.1 Channels

I hate encoding errors. And whatever's going on here, it's irritating! Have any of you had the same problem? Have you found a way to resolve it? If so, what can I do? Bring me some tips, please!

And the same thing happened on Roku Media Player too. And don't tell me I need to do something that has to do with recopying! (My DVDs are heading to storage) Trust me, I tred and still the same issue.
