I know everyone has a different sense of humour but do you think that your sense of humour is different because of your background or because different countries just have different humour.
I have found that been an Aussie some just dont get our sense of humour maybe because we are a bit warped in what we think is funny or is it because our sense of humour is different.
Oh absolutely. One big difference is combining humor with irony, which a lot of people and cultures just don't get.
The one thing that struck me about Saudi Arabia is their total lack of a sense of humor, which is not an anti-Muslim comment (although I am pretty much anti-Muslim). Egyptians, when I was there, had a fairly well developed sense of humor. I don't know if that's still the case.
Freedom, courage and a sense of humor all feed each other.
