People have been waiting years for a modern day sequel: One effort made a few years ago was utterly wasted by compiling the release in a way that was only compatible with XBox and Windows Vista.

They started this a couple of weeks back only asking for 400,000 and acquired over a million in pledges.

Hopefully producers from here on out will learn from this and not try to sell a specific console or operating system along with their game.
