Furthermore, even in the absence of evidence for the global sustainabilty of vegan agriculture, the argument remains for the individual. If it is unnecessary for a particular person to consume animal products then it can be said to be wrong to do so.

With what money do governments subsidise?

Obviously all farming is subsidized, but notice that I said the "hell out of" in this case

. There are certainly different degrees that need to be considered here.
