It's a Storm Out There!!! (and I love it)

I don't know, call me weird, but when I hear that rain pouring down, and the wind blowing and see the lightening crashing and hear the thunder -- I'm sorry -- but I love it.

So I will log off. (so i can enjoy it.)

But do any of you also love the crazy weather sometimes?

Let it rain, let it blow, let it lightening, let it thunder.
It only makes me wonder about this wonderful planet we call "earth".

Don't mind the rain and lightening or thunder as long as I'm at home, but I hate the wind, gale force winds like we are having just now, just for the destruction it causes and then reading today in the paper about a woman killed as she was impaled by a wooden spike uprooted by the wind. It scares the hell out of me.

Plus, it blows my neighbours knickers (HIS!) onto my line, and I'm not happy about it

I like it but it also usually means I lose my internet connection.

omg ! we get some awesome storms out here . the lightening and thunder can last for hours . im way out in the sticks and can see for miles . if its not raining i sit out side on my porch and watch it

I like very specific storms. If that makes any sense.

I love a good thunder/lightning pour down rain storm and I love to watch it, but at a certain point it becomes scary. Like when it hits just before tornado watch type weather, then it's too much for me.

we are in the middle of one right now . the side ways rain flooded my drive in ten minutes! its awesome .

On the TV, Weather News, they try to make it all sound "extreme" and all it ends up being is a bit of rain.

Thunderstorms and Lightening and Wind -- are all a part of Mother Nature doing her thing. It's gone on for milleniums, so why should people be constantly afraid?

It's still raining. I still love it. And I guess by reading all of your posts -- I'm not the only one.

You can never sleep any better, than with the rain coming down outside your window.

I love thunderstorms I hate when it goes all day/too long and going anywhere becomes a pain, but during the night, when it's nice and quiet around the house, it's quite lovely.
