That's what I was talking about earlier. There are many that are capable of performing a feat of engineering yet have no certification.

Tell me that the men that designed and oversaw the construction of the pyramids weren't engineers. They had no PE.

It's all about the piece of paper.

It's not a glorified name, it's a legally protected one. You can't advertise yourself as an engineer nor can you advertise your business as engineering. It's actually against the law.

So you won't be calling yourself a Pedantry Engineer then?
