my father died here at this home.
he passed as i held him.
after his wake.
we were the last to leave.
the motor running.
i'm reaching in my pocket for a smoke.
my wife {driver} buckeling her seat belt.
our daughter, in the far back row seats.
it's a mini van.
it has a power sliding dood.
plays music as it opens and closes.
it opened all by itself.
no one pushed any buttons.
it has never done it before.
it hasn't done it since.

i didn't say nothing else.
many things have happened.
the power side sliding door on the mini van has never just opened with no one being near it, or the button to open it being pushed.
emty parking lot.

the strange things that i have witnessed were always alone.
one time i saw our cat that had passed with my daughter as a witness.
but i have eye issues, and she has a tramatic brain injury.
i thought i had gone nuts.
i no longer feel nuts.
thanks for showing us our home was your home dad.
i'm not nuts, and have zero fear of death of the flesh/

I believe these things, too. I believe we humans only use a MINISCULE part of our brains/bodies/souls, and that as it says in "Celestine Prophesy", we are so much more than we give ourselves credit for!

Maybe your dad was trying to say exactly this, Willi! And the lesson you got from this experience is that there IS nothing to fear from death, it's only a changing over! Sounds like a lesson well learned to me.

I've had ALL SORTS of things happen to me and my loved ones, both here and in spirit. If we open our eyes to the miracles happening ALL THE TIME, we WILL SEE!!!!!

logic tells me to examin everything.
logic made me feel like i was nuts for thinking i saw things in the past that could not be.
i endorse no faith/church/belief.
i tell this for others to do with as they please.

My family and I had many a strange experience during the days after my late Grandfather passed away..

At the time i took great comfort from them.

Now I see that we were looking for things to give us a sign he had not yet left us, so we found them

One of those never ending questions with no answers i guess..

My eldest child asked me not long after the funeral 'what IS the meaning of life?'

Of course i had no answer, so just replied ' To answer that exact question baby'

I dont think it helped him much either

My family has experienced many things that cannot be explained away as circumstance or coincidence. As I biologist I've seen my fair share of things that would never fit in any text book.... or realy with any religion.

Just go with it and enjoy the comforting ride Willi!
