The play of life is over now,
the actors leave the stage;
but the musician's piece is beginning now
and the conductor turns the page.
He waits till my heart stops to beat,
then they the music play.
They play not sad, but happy tune.
They turn my night to day.
Of cares or burdens all are lost.
Of pains, of death, of sorrow's cost,
They are all but to me all lost.
I've found relief at last.

Roy was who inspired the poem. I felt your pain. Whenever someone dies, you start to question, faith, God, and even life itself. These are some of the most important things in life. They're the only things that can help us get through pain. You're welcome. Keep the poem. It's yours.

I would really like to read it at his funeral. You have no idea how relevant it is - he and Granny used to sing in a choir and used to travel all over the country. The conductor was Roy's organist at the Church.

Please do. It would mean alot to me as well. I had no idea, but I'm glad I could ease some of your heart ache.
