Wow that is great, because from what I've heard a lot of older children never get adopted.

yea, I was really lucky, but my adopted parents waited years on me to get 'put up for adoption.' They knew me before I was even eligable to be adopted b/c their other daughter(who is also adopted) and I lived in the same group home together

I met my birth mom first and I was even scared to get out of my car she looked so run down from being homeless for so many years. My brother approached her first..lol...

The I took them out to eat(they hadnt had a good meal in a long time) and then she stayed the weekend and went back but eventually returned to my house(which was a mistake on my part...It was scary at first, but I was so excited after warming up to her...but then got VERY hurt by her and now we hardly talk...she really hurt me by using me...

It wasnt hard for them b/c they had already adopted a girl who use to live in the same home as me...

I was adopted due to sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, starvation as well and just my parents being so unfit and my parents not doing anything to get us back...
