Forgiveness

I was always about forgiving and forgetting. Who cared who did what, when, or who did it first or last? I was never into 'layers'. But, when my mom started being hospitalized over ten years ago - and no one felt 'it was their job' to call me, I felt that was cold. So I forgive, but there is a hole in my heart, and some relationship strings have been severed which will never be repaired. I forgive, I understand, I know why, I don't hate, and am not angry, but I don't see me 'forgetting' about this.

I NEVER forget. Sometimes the past haunts me.
