It changes with a person's age. When I was young I thought Abbot & Costello were the funniest people alive. Now, I lean toward Jim Carey.

I have always loved:

Beverly Hills Cop, Police Academy, Flying High (US released as Airplane I think)& Bedazzled.

In Australia we have a special place in our hearts for 'The Castle' - probably the funniest film Australia ever made. Worth a look it you can get hold of a copy.

Wow.....funniest moments? Here's a smattering:

The Great Race - The Great Leslie (Tony Curtis) has escaped imprisonment with a man dressed as a friar (Peter Falk). When the palace guard alerts the prince (Jack Lemmon) by saying "Leslie escaped with a small friar!" Lemmon deadpans "Leslie escaped with a chicken?" Kills me every time.

Anchorman - "You're a smelly, pirate hooker!" Pirate??? So ridiculous that it cracks me up.....

Happy Gilmore - The subtleties get me......the 6-foot, prosthetic arm on Carl Weathers; Ben Stiller as a quilt pimp......

Arsenic and Old Lace - The wild-eyed glare of the brother that thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt.

Tropic Thunder - Every damn thing Robert Downey Jr. says and does......

Napolean Dynamite - "Tina, you fat lard, come eat your dinner!"; Napolean's uncle hitting Napolean in the face with a steak from 40 feet....

I could go on and on.....
