These days it's nothing for me to watch tv, change a few channels and see stuff that would have been banned from the airways 30 years ago. I'm often really amused by what I see on TV, but alarmed too lol.
I recently saw a reality TV show on Foxtel set...yep, that's right, in a brothel. Not only did you get to see an interview the clients about why they were there, but they taped the sex and showed it, with helpful voice-over commentary included.
In Australia, the most popular music video atm is a catchy little tune called "Jizz in My Pants." lmao. (the video is actually very funny)
All good fun certainly.....but here is my question: it's 2nd nature for creative people to want to 'push the envelope' so what's next? How much further can we go? Is there anything left that is taboo? Will entertainment actually turn back on itself, and become more tame as a reaction to the 'openness' we see now? Or will it get worse?
What will we be watching in 50 years time?
