Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro 3515 Laptop, GFX Driver Update.

Hey folks

I need a driver update for this laptop iv gotten hold of. Thing is iv tried loads of sites and dont seem to get anywhere.
The update in windows xp home is crap, i restart only to get a black screen, that i cant put rite unless i roll back the driver. Apparently it sets a res my sys cant display. Tried vga mode too, no dice. Tried VIA Arena... same. Tried Fujitsu, but the newest driver i can find is still 3 yrs old!
I even tried numerous sites that mod drivers but i still cant find anything.
So my prob is this... I have sims 2, a few expansions, and Freetime. It cant be played without being in software mode and the GFX are awfull. I got a modded file from a guy in a forum that fixed the prob for my machine but it didnt work, this prob because the fix was for Sims 2, and not Freetime which has a few changes in it regarding files and formats.
If anyone has any ideas please could you post, id be very grateful, as its a prob ive had for around 3 months!

Go to the video adapter manufacturer's website and get their current driver for your video card.

If your OS is windows XP there may not be newer drivers for your laptop

Thanks guys. it is xp, home too. i been to manufacturer site and only driver i 2006! laptop model is around 2-3 year old, but brand new to me a year ago.
i find the windows update and the latest VIA very strange in terms of results! :-/

Hi Stimmed, I too have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro 3515. If you go the Microsoft Update Catalog and search for "VIA", you'll get a list of Via drivers. Sort them by recent date and there is an XP graphics driver dated 16th March 2009. Download the package and unpack using 7Zip. Install the unpacked files by going to "Display Adapter" in Devices Manager. Reading your post, I think this is what you're looking for, but I don't know what GFX means.
