Where's the best place to find them? We're looking to go to Germany for a couple of weeks in July.

Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline, Hotwire.

Also check individual airlines' websites.

Not that I know of.

Just be as flexible with your dates as possible. Try every combination of possible days. Also check nearby airports if there are any within driving distance. For example, I usually check Albany first since it's closest, but Hartford and Newark are frequently cheaper and they're under 2 hours away.

Travel agents and online travel sites help you book rental cars, hotels, and even tour groups to help you get around better. The only thing these avenues can?t help you with is speaking the language. However, many Europeans speak English so your language barrier might not be such a barrier after all. You can always pick up an English to German dictionary or phrase book to help you out.
