Keegan to Manage the Magpies

Good news for the Newcastle fans as Kevin Keegan agrees to come back to manage them.

I think he will do a great job for them.

My housemate and I were just saying after the NUFC Vs MUFC debacle that we wished Keegan had never left

I'd forgotten just how well he had done in his first stint up there. Got them to runners-up, couple of top 5 finishes, and all with attractive football.

I also remember his 'I'd bloody love it' rant against Man U. He'll need to be a bit more controlled this time round if he doesn't want the wheels to fall off again! But good luck to him.

I heard Shearer on the radio saying he wouldn't mind being his assistant. Might be just what the Geordies need.

Quite frankly the team need to pull their heads out of their asses and accept that a new manager isn't going to start making winning changes in the first five minutes.
They need to let Keegan settle in and actually have some time with the club.

Still, it is nice to see him back, and should Shearer be his assistant, we will hopefully one day see him with the experience the club want to eventually give him the spot he more than deserves - Manager.
