Flat Fiasco

Hey folks!

Me, my girlfriend (who some of you already see on a reg. basis here, hehe), my best friend (Ryan) and his girlfriend (Ash) are all planning on getting a flat together.

Both me and Ryan are going to the same university in october, hence the idea. Now, Ryans parents are planning on renting the flat out to us, after buying it themselves. A sound plan, except that they're doing bugger all about it!

There are about 5 weeks until my course starts, and they dont even know what flat we're moving into or anything. To top it all, they had buggered off on holiday and only got back today. Its putting a lot of tension between me and my parner cause of all the uncertainty of whats happening. Ryan and his folks keep saying 'yeah, it'll all be fine and itll get sorted soon.' but soon is here, soon is Now!

I just wish something would come together cause i dont wanna have to move in WHILE starting uni, that would be insane!

you might just have to look at getting it sorted yourself....where are you going to uni?

That sounds awful!! as if starting uni is not a big deal, they are holding everything to the last moment, i would be going crazy...especially if your not a laid back person.

Talked about stuff like this with my friends at uni, and nothing ever happened. I view it as a lucky escape.
