@oreo_man Said
First of all;
If it weren't for Windows Macs would not exist - Windows assisted apple when apple was almost bankrupt, in return?
they make stupid commercials insulting the windows OS and [url=https://youtube.com/
watch?v=W7WYbLctfZg]then support the Windows OS (which they said sucked) on there OS
via bootcamp??[/url]

now, Vista does not suck, it just is new. Something that's new won't automatically be
awesome, first things will become compatible with it, then the price will drop, more users
& developers will start using it and eventually it will become the new XP. (but i do admit
that it isn't the best Microsoft OS). Looking at the Macs... I dunno, limited software, weird
styles/skins and everything... Macs<PCs, macs don't mean "think different." they mean
"crash different."

Macs - Crash Different

Fair enough that Macs would not exist, but many important features of the PC would not
exist without Macs (try desktops and mice).
And darling, you get out there and try to be a non-competitive buisness. Go on. They're
worst enemies yet they rely on each other enormously.
They share technology and build upon each other's ideas. Without one, the other would be
terrible.

Also, lemme rephrase what I saw in your final paragraph:

Quote:
"Vista doesn't suck. Well, it does, but it's new! Cut it some slack!"

Okay, it's new, fair enough.
But if it's so new it's crashing, how did it leave the production lines?
Why would something that's faulty be sold?

Basically, you guys are sledging for the sake of sledging.
You can compare the companies all you like, but at the end of the days, it's the computers
we should be judging.
If you research the actual capabilities of a new Macintosh computer and compare
them against a Microsoft, you'll see they both have strengths and weaknesses.
But overall, I prefer the Macintosh for it's strengths in Graphics and overall reliability.

Do your research and stay on the topic if you feel like flaming something.

Yay i get to bash mac's even more than i allready do,

but lets be a bit realistic, best for each

gaming = PC
on a pc you can play any number of games, on a mac your limited to ants and tetris

graphics = mac
now with current graphics cards PC's are awesome, but the cost of some of these cards is huge, for a ready made computer macs win hands down, especially when it comes to laptops

ease of use = mac
one button mouse means only one option, you cant really screw it up

upgrades = PC
you want to get a better computer, easy, buy the better part and put it in, no worries, you want to upgrade your mac, bad luck go buy a new one.

cost = PC
seriously with all the stuff you can get prices for a new PC are as low as 900 bucks,

customization = PC
like i said you can chuck whatever you want into it, on it etc different skins and stuff, macs are a bit harder to get software for once you gewt the hang of it it's pretty easy unfortunately you still cant do anything about the way it looks

grandma friendly = mac
my grandma uses a mac, i played ants on it, it sucked. but thats not the point, the point is there easy to use and figure out even for someone who's never used a computer before

reliability = mac
thiss one i dont know too much about, cant say i've had that many sytems crash on me, but macs do have a good rep for this

overall, im a uni student who plays halflife and has 300gig of movies and music, PC all the way

thats what i think, based on my experiences anyway

Yeahh.
I do agree with you on most of those.

But Gaming is great on Mac. Not as big a variety, but still, we get a fair few. I'm
not a gaming person myself, so yeah, doesn't bother me.
