Wierd Graphics Card Problem

so on saturday i got a game (Dawn Of War, to be precise) i get home and install it, then when i try to play it, it comes up with an error messege saying somthing like "spooge driver not found, make sure Direct x is installed" (it is install you get direct x 9 with the game) so i look on the net to find that the problem is cause, by the fact that my graphics card does not support Hardware T&L, so about 10 mins ago i remember when i bought the thing that it says on the box that it does support Hardware T&L, so be sure i checked it and i found it HERE and it does say that it has Hardware T&L, so what the f*ck is goin on here

try (re)installing your video adapter driver, (re)install Direct X, and if it still doesn't work are you SURE that your video card is the exact type on that site ?

i re-installed everything, and that is my card on the site,......iv also just thought of updating my graphics card driver..maybe that will work

I'm having the same problem with my Dawn of War, except my computer used to run the game fine. I bought Winter Assault, installed it and now neither fo them work. If anyone finds out the solution to this problem E-Mail me a <<Please pm email addy's. Thanks>>

always a good idea, but if you're on windows xp you might want to try uninstalling sp2 as even my graphics card refuses to work with sp2

dude, im having teh exact same problem, DOW used to work fine, but now neither DOW or winter assault work....i heard from some1 that u have to update the 'hotfix' thing from windows (didnt work)...from others that u had to reinstall 'partitions'and make sure dirvers are loaded properly but i have no idea what either is. Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just installed DOW and I received the error also. Direct X is up to date, my video card drivers were recently updated..there must be something?!
