Which artist do you like better? I like Salvador Dali's art better because its like something out of a weird dream like the Metamorphis of Narcissus. Esher's stuff sorta makes me dizzy with all the patterns and stuff lol.

What do you think?

haha i like both though if i had to choose it'd be dali, I'd love to be able to conjure up images in my dream and put them to canvas the way he did.

Esher is really precise with what he does and created! It's hard to do something like that on your free hand unless you had the time and patience!

Both have their ups and downs though I like both, mostly Dali though he did an unsold disney film with Walt at one point, you can see why it wasn't sold if you watch clips on youtube

If you ever get the chance to visit the Dali museum in St. Petersburg, FL., don't miss it. Awesome work. Dali really gets deep into symbolism and shock value. Escher plays more with visual impossibilities and math in art. They are really quite different in their approach, but both are way out there!!!
