thats an awesome pic but its honestly not as good as the real thing. i was out in the boat with my best friend once and we were laying on the front watching them. its gorgeous, especially on Lake Huron in Michigan, with nothing around you but open water and moonlight

Living close to Aberdeen in Scotland I have seen our "Northern Lights" many times and it is true that if you haven't winessed the Aurora Borealis you should not allow the grim reaper to take you away yet.

It is something that you just MUST do !

Nice piccie, but I think that it has been enhanced by a bit of trickery as the Aurora Borealis is notoriously difficult to photograph without loss of quality.
