What is the procedure for changing ownership of a house left in a will? Can we just go to the court house and file some type of deed change? It is an uncontested will, it is not a large estate. we Are located in Colorado.

you will have to get your own lawyer first, to make sure everything is done legally, then you can change ownership.

Are you selling the house or keeping it?
