So, chloroplasts probably do contain chromatin, but I think chlorophyll was the answer you were looking for.

the chromatin is in the nucleus because like you said it's the genetic material of the nucleus

Ah, yes. I forgot that the chloroplasts are part of the cell not cells. Thats what you get for not doing biology for a year.

i was doing some tests and the question is does the chloroplast contain chromatin and the answer is no!!!
so i said how the f*** if chloroplastcontains DNA...it must have chromatine....ok....thanx again ))
