Who are the illegals in the UK ? from reading the posts here by the folks from across the pond , it sounds like both them and us are dealing with an open borders issues , a butt lickin government to the illegals and a deaf ear for the 'native born' citizens.


I know we in the US of A have more than just Mexicans coming in illegally I don't know where I read it but ,
rumor has it that something like only 6% of our illegals aren't Mexican.( nope I don't have a link ) .

I haven't had school aged kids in more then a decade, so my post about the Mexican speaking teachers and my info is at least that old, back then the Mexicans had to ride the same bus and siy in the same class rooms as every other kid . What the hell changed that now they get 'special buses and classes ? And needless to say this means We the the People have forked over the funds for more buses then we use and more schools then we use and and and ,,, the f**king list goes on and on...


40isnotsobad, the part of your post about the crime and multiple deportation is so simple to explaine, see they sneak over here with pockets stuffed full of ill legal drugs , sell them to the preemo of one of thier anchor babies tio's that knows the cantina where the Patron deals from , then the illegal goes around the corner to the Western Union and sends his Tia Maria the cash so her vejao can go in his chevy for more 'supplies' while the illegal catches a free ride home . s*** the trip includes free ride , free meals and free overnight accomodations for the duration of the trip. Can't beat that , cheap at twice the price and it's better than a poke in the eye....

I understand migration mean the intention to set up home in a new country. "When in Rome do as the Romans do" so migrants should respect the culture and language of the 'host' community. Migrants should not take work unless that job had been advertised but not filled by the host community or by already established migrants. This may go some way to fight the fear some locals may have of loosing jobs to migrants. We are all enriched by most migrants and diversity. New migrants should have full access to healthcare and education, especially free language classes so they are actively encourraged to learn the local language. In this way they become integrated and established but can retain their own identity [I hope].

I think we should round up all our politicians and ship them down south of the border for a couple of immigration laws classes Mexican style.


Could you imagine the reaction if the US of A was to pass the same immigration laws as Mexico ,?

they allready broke those aws and behold yet nothing happend

Edit: Many posters use the word illegal when speaking of people who live in the United States without permission. I have a friend who is a lawyer, and I should probably ask her before I say this, but my understanding is that living in this country without permission is a tort not a crime, or if it is a crime then it's an infraction that carries no penalty other than deportation. If anyone remains in the United States after being deported, that would be a violation of a court order, and that would be illegal.

I am in Canada. Terrorists have literally crossed our borders to get to the states. Not just crossed over, but lived here a while. WHAT THE..... It's not right.

People should come here and be allowed to come here for the right reasons. Not ILLEGALLY.

Tough love?

While I can understand wanting a better life, I don't think it's just to, not just immigrate illegally, but invade a country and take jobs.

It's not really an option for many young Americans, much like myself, who have a hard time with school and would like to alternatively find a job landscaping or anything of the sort.
On another note, I see advertisements in complete Spanish on the freeway I ride on to go into the city.
And on a final note, I highly disagree with knowing Spanish becoming a necessity for certain jobs in a primarily-English speaking country. (At least, what it was supposed to be.)

Although I can never understand the suffering and torture they must have gone through just to get on the side of a highway with no ride to their destination, I do understand that if it was any other country being invaded by countless illegal immigrants, s*** would be flipped over there too.

Most all the ads for employment has something about 'bi lingual' bring preferred . legally a place can't 'discriminate ' against you for not being bi lingual but if there are 2 people applying and one is bi lingual that's who well be hired. i have a bumper sticker that says " speak English or get the hell out"

There seems to be too many illegal migrants in the world nowadays. The reason why nobody knows, do these migrants really think that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence or what?

Do these migrant think that the grass is really greener on this side of the fence? Why don't they make an effort to stay at home and try harder to make a better living for themselves over there! We must be telling them that everything is free over here, so come on in and help yourself!

I'm all for people getting a better life as long as it doesn't affect people trying to do it legally.

My fiance was going to try for a certain visa but due to the increasing amount of illegals, there was a smaller chance he would get it. Before I started dating my fiance I could care less about the illegals, they didn't really affect me directly, but now that me and my fiance are going through the long and stressful LEGAL process, I think all the illegal immigrants should go back and do it the right way just like we are. It isn't fair that they should get to stay while there are a lot of people trying to do it the right way.

I love this. The illegal immigrants leech our system like it's nothing, but if an immigrant who LEGALLY immigrated needed help, they're up s*** creek. They can actually get sued and deported if they get some sort of government aid. I know with family visas the sponsor(US citizen) has to make 125% above the poverty line for the beneficiary(foreign citizen) to get that visa. I guess that rule is in place to make sure that there won't be any need to go on any sort of government assistance. A lot of people are losing their jobs, and what happens when a legal immigrant needs government assistance? Well, they pretty much get a letter saying "Hope you enjoyed your stay "
