The smell of roast pork, coming out of the oven, is enough to make the mouth water.
Some slices of nice fresh ham... not the water filled industrially pressed crud you buy in supermarkets, but good ham cut off the bone.... as part of a nice summer salad. Yummy.
Ham is a very versatile meat. It's nutritious, tasty and can be eaten in a variety of ways.
What's not to like..?
