Yeah, she genuinely did - i have no idea whatsoever how she managed that. Any advice? I'm totally stuck on this

if you're both still at school then how about talking to a teacher that you trust?

At our school, the teachers are always really tired and grumpy, even when we behave, and no bullying ever gets dealt with, so they seem pretty useless in general in reference to extra curricular stuff

Also, talking to a school counselor would help YOU...your friend must admit she has a problem and be willing to do something about it. At 16, I was FULL BLOWN into my disease, and had anyone told me I had a problem and needed help, I would have told them to go f*** themselves.

I had an eating disorder when I was in high school and I still struggle with it, Watch her eating habbits and look for the signs I could be wrong and I Hope I am but she sounds like she is starting on the path to Anorexia, Get her help and Talk to her about it.Be careful and sweet don't push her. But study her and look up information online before coming to her

Your friend may have bulimia, an eating disorder. In any case she needs professional help right away. What she is doing to her body could cause permanent damage. Denial, and anger are part of the problem, so don't expect her to cooperate very much. Just persist and get her help.

Go to her parents. You may lose her friendship but you also may end up saving her life.

Agree! I mean, chavvy parents, just because they are chavs, does that mean they don't care about their kids? I would think not.

Not sure about other schools in the UK but the ones I know of don't have school counselor's.

We do in Cumbria, I work with school counsellors but they do not have them everywhere over here I don't think
