i thought seals were supposed to be tough ..

Monks have a lot of self control and just because most choose not to fight it doesn't mean they can't. I read somewhere that a lot of them fight quite a lot, but never with the intention of utilising it. It's more a testament to the monk's training rather than the abilities of the Navy guy.

The style of fighting (to me) is nothing short of Street Fighting,but I'd say the Seal was outclassed from the begining,not by strength but by attitude.

He probably looked at the little bloke and thought he'd knock him out quickly and came in with that thought and aggression

the little guy picked him up and slammed him on his seal butt in the first few seconds .. a real seal would have put up a better fight ..
