Why are women attracted to bad Guys ?

It has always seemed to me that the more you play up the more attractive you become to the opposite sex but i've never been able to figure out why ?

I don't think all of them are. I also think that if they are it's probably not a permanent thing, every girl that I know that has been attracted to the "bad boy" has settled down with the nice guy in the end.

im not always attracted to a bad guy but i do find they have good humour sometimes and i find that attractive...as well as they dont always appear bad at first

i found that when i was younger i WAS attracted to the "bad boy" kinda guy...but it didnt take long for me to see (after many heartbreaks) that that type of guy was not the kinds guy i wanted....i personally think it's a phase....wethere or the not the female gets over that phase...depends on how much she likes getting her heart broken....lol
