Movie Review - Total Recall - 3 Stars

Total Recall, of course, being the remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger classic, probably doesn't have the groundbreaking effects of the former, but, then again, we are talking 2012 here, and not 1990. It is, nevertheless, a solid, smart, visual, and fast moving action sci-fi film that the makers of the original wouldn't be ashamed of. Definitely worth the ticket and one of the better blockbusters of the summer season.

And, a side note, it's also refreshing to actually get one that has closure at the end of it rather than open to a sequel.

I kind of want to check it out.

Since I haven't seen the new one yet, I can't say for sure, but it does look that way from the preview.

I'm the same, usually. Makes you think "Can't they come up with something new??"

Since I love the original and I also really like Kate Beckinsale since she is a strong female character in her movies(not some whiny, b****y, scardycat, 90% naked throughout, screaming wuss that we see all to often with females in movies )...and Colin Farrel.

i liked the original to 1st time i saw it it blew my mind with womans robot head "2 weeks" scene
