Climate change has been occurring. Effects of the warming of our planet are very evident. Floods and drought are every where. Lets take our small part in climate change mitigation. There is this site <<spam link removed>>
that talks about the impacts-effects of climate change.

I agree,the climate's changing everywhere.

I think there is still doubt tho as to whether we caused it or its a natural cylce of events that we have no control over.

Somebody should point out that climate change has its good points. If the Earth's climate had not warmed in the last 20,000 years, New York City would still be covered with hundreds of feet of ice.

A smaller Artic ice cap could allow maritime commerce between Asia and North America. It could also mean agriculture in Baffin Island and Siberia. Seems to me, those would be good things.

How can it be a natural 'cycle' if it's completely unprecedented, and miraculously coincides with the emergence of fossil fuelled human technology?

We're not talking about 20,000 years. We're talking 200 years in which the temperature and CO2 content of Earth's atmosphere has risen more rapidly than at any other time n geological history.

Do you have a favorite temperature? What temperature would you like Earth to be?

Unsurprisingly, Earth has more than one temperature.

Do you think complete destruction of agriculture is a good
thing? It is not just a matter of having a sunny day at the beach! It is caused by Solar activity and human activity! Little stop gap measures are too little too late.
We are past the tipping point and have been for a long time. I recomend some of the writing of Steven K. Snider P.H.D. He is a climatologist, and has no political axe to grind!

You're from the UK, huh? Well you arent excluded from this, in fact you should have listed it right alongside the USA in top contributors. Nonetheless, nobody should be excluded because their country is not a major contributor to greenhouse gases, the responsibility lies on everyones head - everyone that uses fossil fuels or goes on a computer or drives in a car or does just about anything save for living self-sufficiently and sustainably whilst being a vegan has a responsibility in this issue.
