Motor vehicles these days

I can't seem to explain to my new neighbor, who keeps getting his car stolen, that the more flashy you make it the more your going to have to worry about it. you know what i drive? an old 82' Pickup truck! you can see the road thrugh the floorboards!! i don't care, it has a least of a chance getting stolen. And yet these young punks put big wheels, flashy rims, and spoilers that can stop a drag car. Also, why bother spend a milion bucks on a car that is almost exactily the same as a truck that costs, lets see... $1000! its just crazy. The most expencive part is, those dang subwoofers. why do they listen to that BOOM BOOM BOOOOOOOOOM crap. I'm only saying that as far as cars go, modern people are idiots. but i'm not saying evryone. Just people that listen to rap in there cars with triplle bass woofers in the back and wheels that can suit a monster truck, drving trhugh the hood. ohh well. Will we ever come to our scences?

well i totally abree with the fact that people make it way to flashy. I'm somewhat of a mecanic, and a friend of mine's is constantly asking me to work on his car, put bigger muffelers, a spoiler, a new kit, all the works. He even asked to put bigger wheels on it, even though i told him that it's gonna be muder on the suspension, and the brakes. But he wouldn't listen. so now the only adavice i give him everytime he calls me is, to get a hell of a good alarm systm in it. And btw, i happen to like older cars better. muscle cars are my specialty
