And I disagree with that assertion. That's basically it. I'm not attempting to twist your words, and I'm not reading into the things you're saying. You're literally saying that a gun "gives a person a better chance". I disagree. I think that training gives a person a better chance. That news story you linked to illustrates that perfectly. The presence of the gun didn't make anyone safer, but training definitely would have.
