I find it incredibly funny that a "quick question" about salt and icebergs has gotten 105 responses.

(ok. kids, that is the bad lady I told you about, she thinks that drinking is bad. I'm sure God will br merciful and let her into Heaven, but only if we ignore her misguided theory of not drinking)

It is the same. At least it is here in Australia. They have these huge Plants where they get the sea water and sit it in sections where the water is evapourated and all that is left is pure salt. It's a long process, but the end result is what you use at the dinner table.

I think salty. I mean I've seen the sea frozen. *nods* If it's cold enough even salt water will freeze.

Didn't someone give us the answer? They are fresh water, I'm sure there was documented backup for this as well.
