Pay for Restaurant Manager

Ok so i'm making a resume for my fiance on monster.com cuz i'm at school where i have internet access and anyway, it's asking for a salary figure and won't let me leave it blank or put "open", it needs a dollar figure. so does anyone know how much is a reasonable hourly or yearly wage for a restaurant manager with about 4 years kitchen and bartending experience but no managerial experience? thanks.

erm i wish i could help you out, cause i know here in canada they can make up to 15-20 dollars an hour depending on their experience.

also what's the official name of those computers waitstaff uses to put in orders?

it all depends on what kind of a restaurant you are applying for . in general restaurant managers for chains like bickfords or friendlys make about 30,000 to 35,000 annually. Applebees or tgif would prolly be more in the range of 35,000 to 40,000 annually. the computers dont have an official name. its just a computer hope that was helpful. (i worked in a restaurant for 2 years and new the manager very well, so i have a pretty good idea of what they make.)

Well I worked in one restaurant where the manager got like $600/month!

And those computers were called POS (point of service) if I recall correctly.
