You are the national leader of your nation. Whether your nation's leader actually has these powers or not, who would you pardon of the crime of which they were found guilty of and why?

I would pardon all the young Aussie's who organised the protest rally at Cronulla for they did nothing but organise a rally against the way the state government was treating them and, against those ethnic gangs causing violence day after day. Especially on the weekends.

The real criminals were driving around with knives, swords, guns and more yet because of their ethnicity, the police were ordered to not touch them even though they were shooting, raping, stabbing and beating up white Australian's.

These young Aussie's would be pardoned for all they did was exercise the right to protest which we now see is illegal when it conflicts with government policies.

not that it would them any good but i would pardon all the troops that we shot for desertion during first world war that were quiet obviously shell shocked.

and ronnie biggs and great train robbers for getting away with 1 million quid in the 60's and only coshing one train driver.

i think its undestandable why some were.

that aside a vast majority were shell shocked.some high up army type ordered that 300 men be shoot for cowardice at one point, not because they were but because it would teach the others a lesson.

a bit extreme
