Last season PSG won their 4th straight title (by a whopping 31 pts) and then sacked their manager. This season they could only manage 2nd place.

I hear the Bundesliga will be employing a female match official from next season.

Bibiana Steinhouse , a 38 year old police officer will officiate as "The Woman In The Middle" at Bundesliga matches next season. Congratulations to her

At last, a major European league has bit the bullet and done the right thing.

To all those who said it would never happen.... it's happening. One little step at a time. It's happening.

Arsenal deservedly beat the Premiership champions Chelsea 2-1 to win the FA cup, is this the perfect time for Arsene Wenger to bow out on a high or will he stick around to have another go at the Premiership?

Will he step down and give someone else a go, he doesn't seem any closer to winning the Premiership or even competing for it at the moment, what worked for him 12 years ago isn't working anymore, football has moved on and with no Champions League football next season Arsenal seem to have taken a step backwards, I think Arsenal are going to find it hard to attract the players they need to be competitive again as well as keep hold of their big name players

It was a good effort by the gunners, esp considering the number of defenders unavailable. I thought they were more pro active than Chelsea, none more so than in the opening half. Special mention to Mertesacker who prior to this match had played a total of 37 mins for the entire season.

I reckon Wenger deserves a lot of the credit for the win. He got everything pretty much spot on.

Ultimately of course it's down to the club whether or not they offer him a new contract. The board meet on Tuesday, after that surely Wenger's fate will be made public.

Obviously the competition in Scotland is not as strong as it is in some leagues but for Celtic to go through the entire season without losing a single game domestically (47 games in total) was quite an effort.
