Before Bruce and I got together, his friend, we'll call him Seth, had asked me out after only knowing me for a day. He then would leave messages on my facebook nonstop and every time I blocked him he would make a new profile and add me. It did freak me out, but I let it slide. He then he started calling me, but I never gave him my number. He also started sending me emails, but I never gave him my email address. It freaked me out, but I just assumed he had gotten that stuff off of my friend, Tommy, but he said that he never gave Seth any of my info.
He stopped after a month and I forgot about it. But now, after Bruce and I have been going out for a year, he started doing stuff again. Leaving weird love lyrics on my facebook wall to the point where I deleted him. My boyfriend told me that he then started posting things like, "She hates me" or "I'm confused, what did I do."
Bruce confronted him, but Seth just brushed it aside as nothing. He denied everything Bruce had heard. Bruce told him to stop anyways and we haven't heard from him in a while.
I've heard that he's done this before to a couple other girls I know, some gave up and went out with him for a couple days just to make him stop. Others just threatened him or tried their best to ignore him. He hasn't done anything recently, but I saw him comment on one of my friends posts that I posted on, just so he could talk to me. I never replied.
I really don't know what to do. I'm afraid that he'll get dangerous or something, or get disturbing. I really don't want to deal with police or restraining orders, but I feel like I might have to... | |
