| what exaclty is that your studying? what topic are you doing your finial pieces on?
the needle on your drawing has nice amount of detail....
how ever on your bottle,
use a ruler to do a faint line down the center of the page,
then draw half of your bottle then get tracing paper trace over the hadlf part of the bottle then trace it to creat a perfect shaped bottle, however then sketch over the whole bottle to make it more complete, this makes it more realistic....
soon as i know what exactly you are studying and what the topic is maybe what artists you have looked at and studyed then i can help you alot more and maybe suggest ideas for you....

it's sposed to be "the ghost within you"
and the needle i spent like hours a day for a few days on, the bottle i did in 1 english lesson, it wasnt reall sposed to be that detailed, i love your idea, oh and thats not all, in total im having 2 canvases, one is based loosely on pop art, and ive looked at andy warholl, and the only is, well i dont know what it is exactly, kind of a surealist piture of myself, with photos suronded it with shellac on them, the idea is i cut some tears in the one with a picture of myself and put the canvass with the needle and bottle and whatever else behind it so that the needle, bottle and the other stuff shows through. that way i can present it as 1 piece or two.
If you need more info PM me i really apreiate your help |

| Keep in mind, i am not a great researcher i am not great at taking artists works and using the same style, so in the end mine will probably look nothing like pop art or surlism. and will probably look more along the lines of some grade 8 kids scribbles and finger painting lol |

pop art is probs wone of the easyest ones to do....
look at bold shapes and very bold and bright colours...reds, yellows, really bright and vibrant paintings...ive got some pop art and alot of andy warhol at home if i can find i will scan or take some pics as some of them are very very big, then u can see what i did and get some of your own ideas from it....also with popart try and stay away from shading or shades....they used very basic and bold colours....
art is something i live for, i dont have or get much time to draw anymore so here i can speak and help out on something i really enjoy!

lol keep in mind that its a draft and all im doing is doing the draft then ill get to finalising it, then ill focus on what mediums and grounds look best, then i might unwrap my canvas |

thats the secret to art my friend, u can find any drawing you have done and as long as ur write about it and put things in the right order then you can very easyily get any old junk and put in in ur portfolio, i did this because.....i realsied this wasnt suitable because.....erm, this doesnt work because the artist i studyed did....so from this i have learnt..... and from here i will..... then from there u can put in something else random
good way of it looking like ur experimenting and having a wide view on it
also remember to use as many materials as u can in ur experiments, fabric, pastel, leaves or flower pertals, pencil, colour pencil, anything u can get your hands on do it....all these get you a good few marks

I havn't really thought about using anything just yet, i had a few thoughts of making my own canvas by stretching fabric or old shirts over a sqaure of wood. |

even if you have already decided to use pait on canvas and thats what you want to do then by all means go for it but u MUST use a wide varity of different mediums, that is 100% essential!!! |
