Hello All,
I'm excited about my new job, after 5 years off I've gone back to work.
I spent about 20 years in the lighting industry, and now I'm embarking on the Home Appliances industry, and wow, the things you don't know about doing laundry!!!
Anyhow...I found out something very interesting the other day...
The consumer reports that are out there are really out to lunch.
I guess they don't use very fair practices, and take payments to make someones product higher on the list.
As an example...
Kenmore washers are made primarily by Whirlpool...and more often then not, Kenmore is up at the top of the list, and the Whirlpool model is much lower down, and yet they are exactly the same product.
Anyhow...thought you might be interested in that little bit of info...I'm learning a lot about these things, and I'm like wow...

Hello everyone...I'm very excited as tonight my brother is doing his first Gig as a Niel Diamond Look Alike, Sound Alike impersonator. He really does sound like Niel, and has been singing in his Karioki show's for years now...but this is his launch as an impersonator.
Anyhow, his show is a dinner/show which sold out the 53 tickets at 45.00 each!! (and we don't have a big family...so it was not all us).
He also burned a CD he will sell at the show with him singing etc...it is really cool.

 Hi all.
It has been a long time since I've been logged on, and many things have changed.
About three months ago, my husband and I moved up to Canada...Victoria BC in fact...it is very nice.
I was actually raised in Alberta, while I'm an American Citizen by birth, my parents re located up here when I was 4...so in a sense I'm back home.
It is nice I have to admit to be close to my family, and to have the kids get to know there aunt and uncle and cousins.
Anyhow...I thought I'd drop by and re aquant myself here...as I have truly enjoyed my experence on this site, and now that I have a bit of time again am going to start posting.

Hey guys/gals,
Man I'm feeling like a complainer latly, my body seems to be falling apart...LOL...my back and neck are out really bad and I can't afford a treatment...so i'm maintaning, but it is quite painful.
My allergies are off the chart today, need some stuff to get them back into control...a trip to the store is in order...yippy...hope that check comes in.
My husband lost his job two weeks ago and we are not sure if he will get unemployment.
I opened my store up at a second hand store three weeks ago...but it is not supporting us yet...and I'm hoping it will pick up this week so we can at least pay the rent.
I've got to clean up some old business, get a project finished...for which I need a couple thousand dollers...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that.

See I'm complaining.
I'm heading into this day optimistic, and actually feeling good in that respect, but with a fat eye and headacke from allergies...and lack of sleep.
I Need Energy.
Don't know how many of you understand the concept of sending Loving and Suportive energy to someone else, in simple terms it is like prayer.
I could use a bunch today, to help me heal and kick start my physical system so I can really make a difference today.
LOL...like all things in this world this is a temporary situation...and very soon, today or tommorrow it will all be a situation of the past.

OK so played around and got a new look for my profile and different one for my journal...is cool and all except for the pimp my profile.com running thru everything!!
LOL...how do I take that off...a nice little banner would do ...but this just takes away from it...or so I think>

Not much to say other then the headacke went away...thank God...I was worried actually...was bad enough to be one of those days long ones.
It's thursday and early afternoon, and i have not done much today so far...feeling kinda lazy actually, but I have things that NEED to be done...argh.
I am one of those people that isn't a home body, and I had to take kids out of daycare because my business slowed down, so being stuck at home for a month so far, with no car, my husband has it at work...so am fighting depression.
I love my kids by the way, just need to do more.

I Have Head Pain...migrane...for those of you that have never had one...imagine your head in a vice grip..slowly and painfully being crushed!!!!
Otherwise a good day all around...well not great but not so bad either.

Well...it was a good day all round...one of my dearest friends who lives back in Canada called today, and so did my brother...it was very very nice to hear from them...miss then dearly.
The kids for the most part were really good...only a couple of fits (3 and 4yrs old) so that was good.
Got a lot done to day around the house...so feel good about that too.
Am very tired...so gottat get to bed...if the kids will get to bed...LOL...might take some doing.
Anyhow...hope everyone had a decent day.

OK...another day...hmmmm...I'm almost afraid to make any kind of possitive comment here...LOL...just in case.
No...really I am trying to start the day in a possitive and then the day will unfold whichever way it chooses.
I've been so cloudy latly, lol...it's hard some days to wake up with the possitive ... yet most of the time I succeed...I'm hoping to get a lot accomplished today and that would make me feel good.
Well have a good day/evening or I am hoping some of you are sleeping.

What was I thinking when I wrote in my journal this morning!!!
LOL...I did not have the most wonderful day today...in fact had two events back to back that really thru a wrench in it...then I come back and re read my oh so possitive journal entry this morning.
Whats the saying...it's murphy's law?
Oh well..keep on keeping on.
