Mumblings

Hard to believe I made it this far.
The world seems to be going to pot.
I have never seen so many unhappy people.
I guess it is the over-crowding, makes people crazy.
Back when I was young, 50 years ago, the world was a much better place.
We suffer from too much information.
People are getting information over load and are becoming addicted to it.
Social media has changed the psychological make up of most of humanity.
Very few of us rely on tangible skills any more, that makes us feel apart from ourselves.
If a person is born in a system and lives in a system all their life, do they know they are in a system when they make daily choices?
I have be studying fake news, it has been around for 100s of years, its just that today it affects more people faster.
Lying seems to be more prevalent these days, as we do not need to lie directly, face to face with people.
I don't like the way the world is heading at all.
I have recused myself from it by living in a small village on an island in a very rural setting. Life here is fishing, cutting wood and ripping off the government, where ever possible. The people live as their grandfathers did, just some better tools.
I watch the seasons change, the weather patterns are changing, animals are changing, not sure how this will end. I am old, so I know how I will end, lol.

Mousebox! Long time no see. Welcome back!

Yeah, everything's going to hell in a handbasket it seems and not much is being done to stop it. If anything, we're encouraging the madness. 'Tis scary times we live in.

That being said, I'm glad to hear that you found a nice place to relax. I've been considering trying to find somewhere else to live too. I mean, I love Vancouver, but it can just be too much sometimes.
