| im the time ive been online ive met a number off people on the internet , not pysically met them but talked them on various sites. some of them make out they are nice and lead you to beleive they are, and you then fall into a false friendship so how do we recognise false ppl ,we cant we continue to make our own choise and its not always correct, but sometimes you get to knw some realy nice ppl who end up leavng certain sites due to changes or just becouse they get hounded by sad ppl that have nothing better to tan make normal happy ppls lives horrible, why is this? i dont know, im new on here thanks to a friend who i made on another site so it shows that there are some nice ppl out there, please let me know what you think and what experiences you have had , and we can compare saddos lol, anyway i hope to meet friends here, tc mike and manda x | |

| It's hard to tell. I don't really know. I think I am a good judge of character in real life, but on here, you can't really tell if someone is true to who they are.
The only really bad internet experience I had was when I befriended someone, and she seemed very mature, sweet, and wise for the most part. But via pm, she was questionable. She talked poorly about someone telling me she heard this and that, then like a month later was on her friends list and saying how she midjudged her. She told me that some guy was crazy, and had me freaked out of him, then told me later that she was mistaken,(only after I asked if he was bothering her) and that he wasn't the guy she thought he was.
It was too much for me, so I just deleted her. I can't be bothered having to wonder about people on here. If they are questionable a series of times, I delete and move forward. It's the internet. 
It was a good call on my part in the end, because she ended up stating to me that "she would never be friends with someone like me in the real world anyway." Which was funny, because she was right in many ways. I never would be friends with people who were questionable either. So it wasn't a loss.
People are weird on here. It's the internet, there are sock puppets, and people who decieve for whatever reasons. For the most part I take it with a grain of salt, and be as much of a friend as the internet allows. But some people take advantage of it aswell.
You win some, you lose some.
There are some cool people on here though. And the posting, and giggles make it worth it. |

| | i agree with the replies ive had , you do have to judge ppl carefully and if they are genuine then you may or on some case may not know but dont let the odd one or two ppl put you off from making what could be real good friends x |

I have seen some say and do what ever they can,To run down or make another feel small.
They dont realize that there the ones that really are small.

| | in reality you find a lot of fake friends!!! till you don't really know someone there is a lot of hidding stuffs. sometimes you think you know someone and he desapoint you so just take it easy!! true friends are hard to find like a black man with blue eyes!!! |

| I'll confront someone who pretends to be someone new on here when they aren't. What does that get me? I'm the bad guy. I used to block people but I no longer do that, I unblocked everybody. There's not a block button in rl.
It takes me a long time to trust any more. I'm very forgiving until someone who pretends to be my friend is deceiving. Real friends keep arguments between each other, I learned that the hard way. |
