Great ride through the Park. I always look forward to riding down the Park hill very fast. Once I get to the bottom of the hill I begin to sprint to the opening which is the exit from the park. My highlight of the ride is when I ride in the rain. Water pouring down my face and on to my well prepared Wal-Mart rain suit. I had to stand under a tree for a while, do to the rain coming down so hard on me.
I stood under a tree along with a young girl and her brother. She had to decide whether to make a run or just stay under the tree and continue to get wet. The funny thing about children, they just do no care if they get wet. Her little brother played in the rain on his bike with a big smile on his face as if he did not have one worry about being wet. He and I laugh as this brings joy to my heart apart from the day to day troubles which hound our minds along the way. | |

I start my journey the same old way each day by peddling through down town traffic. I make my way to the park, looking forward to the highlight of the ride. The big hill going down this baby real fast.
Today once I reach the bottom of the hill a surprise over took me. Two big dogs ran toward me for a all out attack. The owner was a short little lady who could not control these dogs. The only form of protection that i could think of was jumping off my bike and wedge the bike between me and the dogs. She finally gain control these dogs and begin to apologize to me.
I simple remind her, as a dog owner all are required to keep their dogs on a chain.

| End of the work week. I travel through the park and what do I see. A father and his son racing up the uphill. I laugh my head off. Fathers continue to teach your sons how to have a good time while they are young. | |
