The rain let up for a bit today...

so I took my doggy for a walk in the park at the bottom of my street.
The wild roses are just starting to bloom, I can hardly wait until they are in full bloom, the smell is just awesome.

I'm sure that aphids will attack any plants, but to be honest, I've never seen them here very often. I have had them on houseplants, but a spray with a mixture of dish washing liquid and water gets rid of them fairly quickly.
