| So I'm raising mice for the place I volunteer. My two breeding females just weaned two litters (26 altogether!), and this morning, my coworker texted me saying that she found two orphaned field mice (Mother died). So Luckily my females were still lactating, so they could foster the orphans. 12 hours later they're still doing very well.
I swear after these wildies are weaned, the mamas are getting the longest vacation ever! They're fantastic mothers!9 comments | Reply |

| | So I went to overnight shifts where I work. And I tell you, there's a lot to do, and it keeps me busy! I get home and I feel like i could sleep for a year. But having a set schedule every week again is nice! Plus I'm a night owl. :D Reply |
