And dumped my boyfriend...
Not in Bali, I'm not that mean... But I did dump him, it was time.. And we both knew it too, Dad thinks he was being a douche while we were in Bali on purpose so that I'd dump him and he could make me out to be a b****... Which honestly, I just don't care.
Some of the lyrics don't fit, but some are just so perfect
On the other hand, when I wasn't stuck in a hotel room with a douche or being made sick by said douche blowing smoke all in my face during dinner, Bali was fantastic!!! I can't wait to be able to go there again, even though I know it won't be for a few years, this time I'll take a bunch of girlfriends though lol
My experience of it was honestly very friendly, I had a blast. And there were heaps of foreigners there!
Friends of ours were over there earlier this year,they said they got the feeling the Aussie Tourist is being tolerated now more than anything.
It may have something to do with the way a lot of the young blokes especially,go over and just drink drink drink and become so bloody obnoxious to everybody,including the locals.

We were in Legian.. And even in Kuta everyone was nice to me

I wasn't too worried, I was smart about it all... And yeah, we went white water rafting, a tour of a morning market and a cooking class and a tour of the monkey forest and Tanah Lot temple

TanahLot is a beautiful Temple,would want to be caught there at high tide though .
My wife came close to being attack at the Monkey Temple,for some reason they took a dislike to her the only thing we could put it down to was giving a baby monkey some peanuts .
So,your now a fully fledged Bali cook are you Do they still use different coloured bags to show just how hard a shopper you are,or a pushover?Orange meant your a push over,Black you were far to hard.

I had a quick squiz in the shop yesterday and couldn't find pandang essence anywhere Everywhere I went I got given a black bag, but in saying that I can't recall seeing any orange bags around..

You'll probably have to try the Asian Shops,they carry things like that, Black Bags you Bartered their arse's off didn't you ,but you know what?when we come along they love it,the Americans,Japanese and other nationalities don't Barter,so it they want a T Shirt,and they say 500,000 Rupee,they pay it we saw one Japanese girl their pay for each braid they put in her hair,needless to say the women took advantage and braided three strands at a time .

Argh,that's just being silly,rule of thumb is,you cut whatever they say to a quarter then start playing with them,yeah sometimes you win sometimes you lose but even then the next person comes along and the person doing the selling will win big time.
