I saw Serenity on the weekend...finally

I also bought all of Firefly for $37

Yay me, I am so happy I could cry...if I could produce tears properly

I just bought the entire series for ?20, which is aboutthe same price and the movie on saturday.. i loved that series and i think it kicks alot of sci fi series of the planet... it is better than buffy by far!!!!

I was actually expecting more oneliners in the movie, but i thought it was great nonetheless. I saw Serenity for about $37 as well, but i won't pay that much for a movie

I haven't seen the movie.

But the series is GREAT!

In a weird way it gets an "old western" feel across, the pioneering frontier concept comes across brilliantly.

Not to mention the stange gadgets, cool ships, weird planets and so on.
